Japan Foundation screens free films
JAKARTA (JP): Two Japanese films will be screened at the Japan Foundation from May 15 to May 20 for free.
The films, to be shown at the Summitmas I building, are Daiyukai, (Rainbow Kids) and Tsugumi. Both films have texts in Indonesian.
Daiyukai, directed by Kihachi Okamata, is set in a mountain village in Central Japan. It was adopted from a 1979 novel called "Big Kidnapping". Shows are on Thursday beginning at 4 p.m. and Monday from 7 p.m.
Tsugumi is directed by Jun Ichikawa. Organizers said it is about a small spoilt girl and was also adapted from a novel. Shows are on Friday from 4 p.m. and Tuesday from 7 p.m. (anr)
