Jakarta Governor says construction of Taman Bendera Pusaka will not use regional budget
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung Wibowo, revealed that the cost of constructing the Taman Bendera Pusaka in South Jakarta, amounting to IDR 100 billion, will not be drawn from the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
“The total funding is approximately IDR 100 billion. Not a single penny will come from the APBD,” said Pramono in South Jakarta on Thursday (26/2).
The man, who is often called Pram, said that the funding for the park’s construction would utilise a non-APBD scheme.
Therefore, he said, everything related to the Building Floor Coefficient (KLB), Certificate of Functional Suitability (SLF), and Letter of Approval for Land or Location Exemption (SP3L) will be managed transparently.
Furthermore, he plans for the Taman Bendera Pusaka to be officially opened in March 2026, although he has not yet been able to specify the exact date of the inauguration.
Not only the Taman Bendera Pusaka, several buildings in Jakarta are also currently being built without relying on the APBD, one of which is the Taman Semanggi, the revitalisation of which cost IDR 134 billion.
“I am asking the City Hall to improve itself, to make Jakarta not solely dependent on the APBD,” said Pramono.
He also continues to encourage the use of non-APBD schemes, given that the central government has cut the Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government by IDR 15 billion.
He admitted that he does not want the DBH cut to hinder Jakarta’s development.
