JAKARTA: The Ministry of Religious Affairs, in connection with
its 50th anniversary, is waiving the Rp 10,000 fee it charges for
performing Moslem wedding rituals for one day only.

The offer is valid only on Jan. 3 at all religious affairs
offices around the country, said Nazar Muhdi, the ministry's
chief spokesman. Also waived for a day is the Rp 10,000 fee the
office charges married couples for reconciliation services,
