Iran Launches Wave of Attacks Targeting Tel Aviv Communications Centre
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the largest wave of attacks since the beginning of military operations against the United States and Israel. The assault was carried out on the evening of 10 March as part of Operation True Promise 4.
According to Tasnim news agency, the attack represented the 37th wave since the conflict began. The operation was described as the most intense and comprehensive assault Iran has conducted since the start of the war.
According to the IRGC, the wave of attacks lasted more than three hours with continuous missile fire. The operation also involved the launch of heavy Khorramshahr-class missiles.
The IRGC stated that one of the targets again struck was the Ha’ela satellite communications centre south of Tel Aviv. The assault also targeted military installations in Be’er Ya’akov, western Jerusalem, and Haifa.
Beyond Israeli territory, the IRGC also stated that the assault was directed at several US military targets, including facilities in Erbil and the Fifth Fleet naval base in the Gulf region.
In its statement, the IRGC said the operation was dedicated to honouring fallen Iranian leaders and military commanders and civilians killed in the conflict. The IRGC also stressed that military operations would continue.
“We will continue targeted and forceful attacks. As long as the war continues, our objective is to force the enemy to surrender completely. This war will only end when the shadow of war is completely lifted from our country,” the IRGC stated.
