Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the\nlaunch of the largest wave of attacks since the beginning of military\noperations against the United States and Israel. The assault was carried\nout on the evening of 10 March as part of Operation True Promise 4.<\/p>\n
According to Tasnim news agency, the attack represented the 37th wave\nsince the conflict began. The operation was described as the most\nintense and comprehensive assault Iran has conducted since the start of\nthe war.<\/p>\n
According to the IRGC, the wave of attacks lasted more than three\nhours with continuous missile fire. The operation also involved the\nlaunch of heavy Khorramshahr-class missiles.<\/p>\n
The IRGC stated that one of the targets again struck was the Ha\u2019ela\nsatellite communications centre south of Tel Aviv. The assault also\ntargeted military installations in Be\u2019er Ya\u2019akov, western Jerusalem, and\nHaifa.<\/p>\n
Beyond Israeli territory, the IRGC also stated that the assault was\ndirected at several US military targets, including facilities in Erbil\nand the Fifth Fleet naval base in the Gulf region.<\/p>\n
In its statement, the IRGC said the operation was dedicated to\nhonouring fallen Iranian leaders and military commanders and civilians\nkilled in the conflict. The IRGC also stressed that military operations\nwould continue.<\/p>\n
