TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Investor Summit and Capital Market Expo will be held on October 5-6. This is the sixth time the event is being held by the Indonesian Stock Exchange and it will be attended by 28 companies.
"The theme is Investing in Capital Markets: A Journey for a Better Future," said CEO Ito Warsito in a press conference yesterday.
The event is expected to attract investment in the capital market. Some 2,000 local and international investors will attend the event. “We targeted 2,000 people, but 2,448 people have registered. It’s hard to refuse them,” said Ito.
In this event, investors will have the opportunity to meet directly with the companies.
The summit will be opened by Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo and the seminar will be opened State-Owned Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar.
A similar event will also be held at Grand City Mall Surabaya on November 23 – 24 and will be attended by 12 companies.
The companies scheduled to give presentations on the first day are Bank BRI, Astra Agro Lestari, Adaro Energy, AKR Corporindo, Unilever Indonesia, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam, Jasa Marga, Bank BCA, Kalbe Farma, Telkom, Bank BNI and Astra International.
On the second day, there will be presentations from Bank Mandiri, Aneka Tambang, Semen Gresik, Bakrieland, XL Axiata, Bakrie Sumatra Plantation, Indofood Sukses Makmur, Bank BTN, Pelat Timah Nusantara, PP Lonsum, Lippo Karawaci, Gudang Garam, United Tractors, Bumi Resources, PGN and Nippon Indosari Corpindo.
