Investment Realisation Reaches Rp 942.9 Trillion in First Half of 2025
JAKARTA — Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan P Roeslani said investment realisation during the first half of 2025 reached Rp 942.9 trillion. This figure is equivalent to 49.5 per cent of the overall 2025 investment target of Rp 1,905.6 trillion.
"Investment realisation throughout the first half of 2025 has absorbed 1,259,868 workers," Rosan said during an investment realisation presentation at the Ministry of Investment office in Jakarta on Tuesday (29/7/2025).
During the first half of 2025, domestic investment contributions exceeded foreign investment in Indonesia. Domestic investment (PMDN) amounted to Rp 510.3 trillion (54.1 per cent), whilst foreign investment (PMA) reached Rp 432.6 trillion (45.9 per cent).
"Furthermore, investment outside Java during the first half of 2025 was actually larger, at Rp 476 trillion. Meanwhile, investment in Java during the first six months of this year was Rp 466.9 trillion," Rosan said.
Rosan added that five countries were the largest contributors of investment to Indonesia during the first half of 2025. First was Singapore at US$8.8 billion, followed by Hong Kong at US$4.6 billion, then China at US$3.6 billion. In fourth position was Malaysia at US$1.7 billion, and fifth was Japan, contributing US$1.6 billion.
