The Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office is delving into the case of alleged corruption in the workforce training programme for the fiscal years 2022-2024 within the Cimahi City Manpower Office. Investigators have already examined witnesses from the civil service (ASN) and third parties.

“In the course of the investigation, several witnesses from both the department and third parties have been summoned,” stated the Head of the Intelligence Section at the Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office, Fajrian Yustiar, when contacted on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

However, the number of witnesses is likely to increase, including ASN from the Cimahi City Manpower Office and related third parties in connection with the alleged gratuity case. The Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office has not yet named any suspects in the case.

“Not yet (any suspects). Witnesses will continue to be added so that the criminal events can be clarified,” Fajrian said.

To supplement the statements from the witnesses already examined, the investigators from the Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office conducted a search at the Cimahi City Manpower Office, located in the Cimahi City Government Office Complex on Jalan Rd. Demang Hardjakusumah, on Tuesday (21/4/2026). The search lasted approximately five hours.

Fajrian revealed that the search was carried out to gather evidence to uncover the alleged corruption in the workforce training and productivity programme for the fiscal years 2022 to 2024. The alleged corruption is suspected to involve gratuities.

“The series of actions taken by the investigative team is one of the efforts to search for and collect evidence to clarify the alleged criminal act of corruption at the Manpower Office for the fiscal years 2022 to 2024,” Fajrian emphasised.

He stated that the evidence, consisting of documents and other items, will be reviewed by the investigators at the Cimahi District Prosecutor’s Office. They plan to apply for seizure at the District Court (PN) to strengthen the evidence in the alleged corruption case.

“So earlier, the investigative team successfully gathered evidence in the form of documents amounting to two suitcases. Further examination will be conducted, and we will apply for seizure at the PN,” he said.
