InJourney Adds 53 Flight Routes for January-April 2026
PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) is adding 53 flight routes to strengthen national air connectivity and support mobility as well as growth in the transportation and tourism sectors.
“From January to April 2026, there will be 53 new flight routes operated at various airports, consisting of routes that have never been operated before as well as additional new flight services,” said InJourney Airports’ President Director Mohammad R. Pahlevi in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday, 2 May 2026.
According to him, the number of routes during that period will increase by 15 percent compared to the same period the previous year, with the addition of 46 flight routes.
An example of a route that has never been operated before is Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado - Naha Tahuna Airport, which will now be served by Wings Air starting in May 2026.
Meanwhile, new airline routes to add flight services on existing routes, for example, Garuda Indonesia will begin flights from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali to Mozes Kilangin Timika Airport in May 2026.
He stated that the development of the flight network is a concrete step by InJourney Airports to position airports as agents of development to support economic growth and equity as well as contributions to the national tourism sector.
According to him, airport connectivity is a key factor in facilitating public mobility as well as the smooth flow of goods and logistics.
“In line with this, InJourney Airports will always respond to existing challenges to ensure air connectivity through the role of airports remains maintained and sustainable,” Pahlevi said.
Nevertheless, he mentioned current challenges, including those resulting from the Middle East conflict that has caused high aviation fuel prices, thereby impacting sentiments of rising air ticket prices.
In response to this, InJourney Airports continues to strive to strengthen collaboration with the aviation ecosystem, particularly airlines, regulators, airport operators, and other related stakeholders.
This is to implement various route development strategies so that airports can continue to increase the number of flight routes to meet consumer demand and enhance competitive market competition.
He said that from 14 to 16 April 2026, InJourney Airports participated in Routes Asia as an effort to develop the flight network in the Asia-Pacific region amid existing challenges. During the event, InJourney Airports held strategic meetings with 28 airlines and 16 airports.
The airline that has just opened a flight route at InJourney Airports is T’way Air on the Soekarno-Hatta Airport - Incheon Airport (South Korea) route starting 29 April 2026.
Then, in May 2026, Scoot will open the HAS Hanandjoeddin Belitung Airport - Changi Singapore Airport route, and in June 2026, the Supadio Pontianak Airport - Changi route.
Spring Airlines is planned to serve routes from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Soekarno-Hatta Airport starting in June 2026.
Several airlines also have significant opportunities to open routes at various InJourney Airports, which will be announced soon, such as Centrum Air which will serve the Tashkent, Uzbekistan to I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Bali route, as well as Greater Bay Airlines which will make its maiden flight from Hong Kong to Juanda International Airport, Surabaya.
“In the international route market, our target within two years is to add frequency to existing flight routes and open new routes. This serves as the basis for building direct long-haul flight connectivity from airports in Indonesia,” he said.
InJourney Airports, together with stakeholders, continues to implement various strategies to increase the number of domestic and international flight route services throughout this year.
