Furthermore, Eko said the Brebes Regency government also strengthened public services through civil registration administration. During the first year, 773,798 residents were assisted through various civil documentation services.

“This service is considered vital to ensure residents possess valid legal identities as a prerequisite for accessing education, healthcare, social assistance, and other public services,” he said.

He added that the regional social protection programme reached 3,958 residents, whilst 2,000 families graduated from the Family Hope Programme (PKH), signalling improved economic self-sufficiency.

In addition, Eko said that with regard to adequate housing and healthy environments, 1,375 substandard homes were renovated through the home improvement programme. The sanitation programme reached 1,581 households, whilst improvements to 32.17 kilometres of neighbourhood roads and installation of 827 street lighting points enhanced the quality of residential environments.
