Information on BGN PPPK Stage 3 Recruitment Opening Confirmed as Hoax; Public Urged to Check Official Channels
Information circulating on various social media platforms regarding the opening of Stage 3 PPPK (Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja—Government Employees on Work Agreements) recruitment for the National Nutrition Agency (Badan Gizi Nasional, BGN) has been confirmed as false and does not originate from any official agency announcement.
Rahman, Head of the Human Resources and Organisation Bureau (SDMO) at BGN, emphasised that the agency has not yet opened Stage 3 PPPK recruitment. “We must clarify that BGN has never issued an announcement about opening Stage 3 PPPK as has been circulating. This information is incorrect and does not come from our official channels,” Rahman stated in Jakarta on Friday, 27 February.
He explained that every recruitment process within BGN follows applicable mechanisms and regulations and is announced publicly through the institution’s official communication channels. The public has been urged not to be easily swayed by posts invoking BGN’s name without proper verification.
Rahman also warned of the potential for misuse of false recruitment information for fraudulent purposes. “We assert that all official government selection processes incur no fees whatsoever. If anyone requests payment in the name of BGN recruitment, it is certainly not part of the official process,” he stressed.
Khairul Hidayati, Head of the Legal and Public Relations Bureau at BGN, said the clarification was important for preventing public unease and safeguarding institutional credibility. “The spread of false information can harm the public and damage the reputation of a state institution. We urge the public to always verify information before sharing it further,” Hidayati said.
BGN remains committed to maintaining transparency in all policies, including staff recruitment. Should PPPK formation or other recruitment types be opened in future, announcements will be made formally through BGN’s website and verified social media accounts.
BGN also invited the public to actively combat misinformation by refraining from spreading unconfirmed information. This step is crucial for creating a healthy and trustworthy public information space.
