Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The telecommunications issuer, PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET), has acquired 60% of the shares in PT Trans Hybrid Communication (THC) from a non-affiliated party, with a transaction value of IDR 160 billion.

THC is a fibre optic infrastructure company that owns a backbone network, fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services, and a network access provider (NAP) connected internationally. In its business structure, THC has two subsidiaries operating in the telecommunications industry, namely PT Dukodu Digital Solution (DDS) and PT THC Digital Solution (TDS), which have been operating since 2024 and 2025, respectively.

INET’s management explained that this corporate action would accelerate the development of FTTH assets to serve retail customers and expand its infrastructure portfolio to strengthen services for corporate customers.

“The acquisition of THC’s shares is expected to support the development of INET’s business. THC’s competence in providing telecommunications and internet services is believed to improve service quality and strengthen the company’s operational capabilities,” said management in a disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), as quoted on Thursday (February 26, 2026).

Previously, INET officially became the controlling shareholder of PT Personel Alih Daya Tbk (PADA) after completing the acquisition on February 2, 2026. INET acquired 1,687,455,000 shares of PADA, which were previously owned by the Indosat Tbk Employee Cooperative (Kopindosat). The number of shares represents 53.57% of the issued and paid-up capital of the outsourcing company.
