Indosat's Data Traffic in Bali-Nusra Increases by 35.6% in Q1 2026
PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Regional Bali-Nusa Tenggara recorded a 35.6 per cent year-on-year increase in data traffic in the first quarter of 2026. This growth is evidence of the successful implementation of the “Lebih Baik Indosat” campaign in the Bali and Nusra regions. It brings a new standard in digital services for the communities in the island areas. President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, stated that these results reflect Indosat’s consistency at the start of the year in executing its strategy and delivering real value to customers. “With AI Hyper-personalization, Indosat can be more relevant in every interaction, as reflected in stronger customer closeness, better customer experiences, and sustainable growth,” said Vikram in his official statement on Tuesday (5/5/2026). In addition, Indosat has completed the “Desa Terkoneksi” programme in 108 villages in the Bali and Nusra regions by April 2026. Supported by 600 5G BTS and nearly 8,000 4G BTS, Indosat consistently implements a grassroots strategy that also drives the local economy through digital education, supporting village outlet partners, and collaborating with local businesses. “Through the #LebihBaikIndosat spirit, we are committed to continuously improving the way we serve and support their digital lives,” explained Vikram. Based on results in the Java area with revenue growth reaching 13 per cent or up six per cent from the previous year, it serves as proof that village community empowerment is effective in driving customer loyalty, while strengthening Indosat’s regional position.
