Indosat (ISAT) Overhauls Board of Directors, Three New Names Appointed as Directors
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (ISAT) has overhauled the company’s Board of Directors through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Tuesday (5/5/2026). In the meeting’s decisions, shareholders approved the appointment of Reski Damayanti, Apoorva Mehrotra, and Honesti Basyir as members of the Board of Directors, effective from the close of the AGMS. Additionally, Seppalga Ahmad was appointed as a commissioner of the company. “These appointments further strengthen Indosat’s capabilities in executing strategies with greater agility and discipline,” said President Director and Chief Executive Officer of ISAT, Vikram Sinha, during a press conference following the AGMS. Reski Damayanti brings over two decades of experience in law, regulation, and corporate governance in the telecommunications sector, as well as Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in Indonesia and Southeast Asia (ASEAN). In her role as Director, she is expected to strengthen the governance framework and drive strategic initiatives in regulation, including the development of artificial intelligence-based solutions such as anti-spam and anti-scam. Meanwhile, Apoorva Mehrotra has an international track record of more than 25 years in Asia and Africa, with experience leading business transformations in global companies such as Airtel and Vodafone. He is known for his ability to drive sustainable growth and build high-performing organisations. As for Honesti Basyir, he brings extensive experience of more than two decades in the telecommunications industry and other strategic sectors. His presence is expected to accelerate the execution of Indosat’s strategies, particularly in developing artificial intelligence (AI)-based technologies as a new pillar of growth. The AGMS also decided on the honourable dismissal of Ahmad Zulfikar from his position as Director and Achmad Syah Reza from his role as Commissioner.
