Indosat Distributes IDR 3.58 Trillion Dividend, Equivalent to IDR 111 per Share
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Tbk (ISAT) is distributing a dividend worth IDR 3.58 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year. The decision was agreed upon at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Tuesday (5/5/2026). The total approved dividend amounts to IDR 3,579,840,016,227 or equivalent to IDR 111 per share. The dividend payment will be made no later than 30 days after the announcement of the official minutes of the meeting. “At Indosat, we believe that every advancement must bring broader and more meaningful impact. Our focus is clearly on accelerating the disciplined execution of our AI strategy,” said Vikram Sinha during a press conference following the AGMS on Tuesday afternoon. “We are undertaking these efforts to drive performance that leads to sustainable growth, while delivering real value to shareholders, including through dividend distributions. All these steps reflect our spirit in empowering Indonesia,” he explained. Based on this, Indosat continues to accelerate its AI North Star ambition to become a driver of artificial intelligence (AI) development by empowering Indonesia through a fully integrated AI ecosystem. This transformation begins with the evolution of Indosat into an AI-native telco, integrating AI into all core operations to deliver more personalised customer experiences through AI hyper-personalisation, increase productivity, and optimise capital expenditure efficiency. Vikram assured that this approach has strengthened customer engagement and can support double-digit growth for ISAT. Furthermore, Indosat is expanding its services from mere connectivity to an AI TechCo, opening new growth opportunities in sovereign AI, cloud, and cybersecurity. With the core capabilities already established, the company is now entering an expansion phase to drive exponential growth in AI-based services, both in the consumer and enterprise segments. One of the main drivers of this strategy is Indosat’s strategic collaboration with NVIDIA, announced at NVIDIA GTC 2026, alongside the launch of Sahabat-AI as a unified effort to build an AI ecosystem in Indonesia. Through this partnership, Indosat leverages NVIDIA’s Accelerated Computing platform and open AI models from Nemotron to bring world-class AI capabilities to Indonesia. This initiative enables the development of high-performance solutions that are locally relevant, while laying the foundation for open, adaptive sovereign AI aligned with national priorities.
