Indonesia Stock Exchange Daily Transaction Value Rises 25.35 Percent Over the Week
PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) recorded varied equity trading data for the period 23-27 February 2026. The highest increase was recorded in average daily transaction value, rising 25.35 percent to Rp 29.52 trillion from Rp 23.89 trillion the previous week.
BEI Company Secretary Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad stated that the increase was also reflected in BEI’s average daily transaction volume this week, which rose 8.55 percent to 51.02 billion shares from 47 billion shares the previous week.
However, the movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) during the week experienced a change of 0.44 percent, closing at the level of 8,235.485 from a position of 8,271.767 the previous week, he said in a written statement on Saturday, 28 February 2026.
He conveyed that BEI’s market capitalisation experienced a change of 1.03 percent to Rp 14.787 trillion from Rp 14.941 trillion the previous week. The average frequency of daily transactions experienced a change of 3.72 percent to 2.95 million transactions from 3.06 million transactions the previous week.
As for foreign investors today, he said, recorded a net selling value of Rp 694.22 billion. Additionally, foreign investors recorded a net selling value of Rp 9.51 trillion throughout 2026.
During 23-27 February 2026, there were eight debt securities listings consisting of six bonds and two sukuk at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia. On Wednesday, 25 February, the Indomobil Finance Perpetual Bond VI with Fixed Interest Rate Stage II Year 2026 issued by PT Indomobil Finance Indonesia began listing on BEI.
The bond was listed with a principal nominal value of Rp 2.5 trillion. The rating result from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) for the bond was AA- (Double A Minus) with PT Bank Mega Tbk as trustee.
On the same day, PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry also listed two instruments simultaneously, namely the Perpetual Bond IV Stage II Year 2026 and Perpetual Sukuk Mudharabah II Stage II Year 2026. Both have principal values of Rp 1.05 trillion and Rp 1.55 trillion respectively.
Pefindo assigned a rating of idA (Single A) for the bond and idA(sy) (Single A Shariah) for the sukuk, with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk serving as trustee.
Subsequently, on Thursday, 26 February 2026, the Perpetual Bond V SANF with Fixed Interest Rate Stage II Year 2026 issued by PT Surya Artha Nusantara Finance began listing on BEI with a principal value of Rp 1.2 trillion. This bond obtained a rating of idAA (Double A) from Pefindo and designated PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk as Trustee.
On the same day, the Perpetual Bond IV Bank Panin Stage IV Year 2026 issued by PT Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk was also officially listed with a principal value of Rp 2.71 trillion. This instrument obtained a rating of idAA (Double A) from Pefindo with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk as trustee.
On Friday, 27 February 2026, the Perpetual Bond VII Federal International Finance with Fixed Interest Rate Stage III Year 2026 began listing on BEI with a principal value of Rp 2.5 trillion. Based on the rating by Fitch Ratings Indonesia, this bond obtained the highest rating of AAA(idn) (Triple A) with PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk as trustee.
On the same day, PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk also listed the Perpetual Bond VII Stage III Year 2026 and Perpetual Sukuk Mudharabah VI Stage III Year 2026. Both have principal values of Rp 2 trillion and Rp 500 billion respectively.
Pefindo assigned a rating of idAAA (Triple A) for the bond and idAAA(sy) (Triple A Shariah) for the sukuk, with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk serving as trustee.
The total issuance of bonds and sukuk already listed throughout 2026 is 30 issues from 21 issuers valued at Rp 28.71 trillion. The total issuance of bonds and sukuk listed on BEI amounts to 677 issues with outstanding value of Rp 560.01 trillion and US$ 134.01 million, issued by 133 issuers. State Securities (SBN) listed on BEI amount to 186 series with a nominal value of Rp 6,683.44 trillion and US$ 352.10 million. Asset-Backed Securities (EBA) totalling seven issues valued at Rp 3.69 trillion.
