The continuous growth of the domestic crypto asset industry is deemed to require a balance with aspects of literacy, security, governance, and consumer protection to ensure the industry’s long-term sustainability.

Chief Marketing Officer of Indodax, Aloysia Dian, stated that crypto asset trading activity in Indonesia continues to show growth, as evidenced by Financial Services Authority (OJK) data. The value of crypto asset trading transactions reached Rp17lag1.12 trillion from January to July 2026, with the number of crypto asset consumer accounts reaching 22.93 million.

“This growth reflects the widening participation of the public in the crypto asset ecosystem; however, the development of the crypto industry needs to be followed by an increase in public understanding,” she said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

According to her, the quality of service and user experience are also integral to the efforts of building trust in crypto asset platforms.

“The growth of the crypto industry needs to go hand in hand with increased literacy and service quality,” she said.

Therefore, the company aims to continue providing a platform that is increasingly accessible, secure, and transparent, while supporting the public in understanding crypto assets more wisely.

Aloysia added that the company conducts educational programmes through Indodax Academy. These programmes include learning materials, classes, and digital content, as well as collaborations with communities and institutions. The educational materials are designed to help the public understand crypto assets and blockchain technology.

In relation to this, PT Indodax Nasional Indonesia received the Disway Awards 2026 – Trusted & Popular Brand 2026 in the Crypto Exchange category.

The company serves more than 10 million members out of the total 22.93 million crypto asset consumer accounts in Indonesia as of July 2026.

Aloysia noted that the award serves as motivation for the company to maintain service quality while strengthening security, innovation, and education.

Previously, in April, Indodax received two awards at the Most Trusted Financial Brand Awards 2026 organised by InvestorTrust. These awards were presented in the categories of Crypto Trading Platform and Digital Asset Custodian Products.

In June, the company received two awards at the Anugerah Ksatria CFX 2026, namely the Arjuna Awards for Commitment to Literacy & Education and the Bima Awards for Highest Achievement in Growing the Crypto Asset Market.

“We hope this appreciation and trust can continue. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen education, innovation, security, and governance to provide services that are relevant to the development of the national crypto ecosystem,” Aloysia concluded.
