Jakarta (ANTARA) - Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) Kemayoran Harapan Mulia 1, Central Jakarta, continues to improve the quality of the Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) by evaluating all employees regularly every one to two weeks.

The SPPG, which has 50 employees, today resumed the MBG programme after the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2026, serving 3,298 beneficiaries for seven schools in Central Jakarta, including pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers (3B).

“Actually, we see that all these employees are already ethical, but again, we continue to evaluate the capabilities of the volunteer human resources. We conduct evaluations of the volunteers every week or two weeks, including nutrition education, volunteer training capabilities, and so on,” said the Head of SPPG Kemayoran Harapan Mulia 1, Fakhri Irfan Pribadi, in Jakarta on Tuesday.

As an improvement measure and anticipation of food poisoning cases, SPPG Kemayoran Harapan Mulia 1 also ensures that the hygiene of each volunteer is always checked before starting work in the MBG kitchen.

Fakhri also assured that waste processing at his SPPG is well controlled, following the standard operating procedures (SOP) and technical guidelines (juknis) from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

He added that there is no significant difference in the menus provided to beneficiaries before or after Eid. The notable difference only occurs when menus are combined before the SPPG holiday, referred to as a special menu.

“For the Eid menu, almost 80 percent is dry, but for the remaining 20 percent, we once processed the dry menu, such as pudding or macaroni schotel. The combined menu accumulates the value for one day at Rp10,000, multiplied by seven days to Rp70,000; that was a direct order from the centre, called a special menu at that time,” said Fakhri.
