Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Foreign investors continued to post a net sell in the domestic stock market. On 5 March 2026, total net foreign selling was around Rp210 billion across the market. According to trading data, foreign selling pressure was largest on big-cap stocks and commodity-related shares. Telkom Indonesia (TLKM) was the issuer with the largest net foreign sell, at about Rp75.6 billion. TLKM’s total transactions amounted to Rp692.5 billion, with an average foreign buy price of Rp3,259.6 and an average foreign selling price of Rp3,249.8. In second place was Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) with a net sell of Rp62.9 billion from total transactions of Rp271.3 billion. Meanwhile, Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI) occupied third place with a net foreign sell of Rp52.5 billion. Sectorally, foreign selling pressure was fairly widespread, spanning banking, telecommunications and commodity-based stocks such as nickel and coal. Overall, foreign investor transactions in the regular market totalled around Rp11.96 trillion, with buy value Rp5.87 trillion and sell value Rp6.08 trillion. The difference yielded a net sell of around Rp210 billion. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 133.48 points or 1.76% at 7,710.54 in yesterday’s trade. A total of 625 shares rose, 134 fell and 199 were unchanged.
