IDX Releases List of 9 Stocks with High Shareholding Concentration, Including BREN to DSSA
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) released a list of stocks with high shareholding concentration (HSC) on Thursday (2 April 2026). This publication is part of efforts to increase transparency for investors in the capital market.
Based on IDX data, there are nine issuers in this category. These stocks are owned by a small number of shareholders who collectively control more than 95% of the ownership.
Here is the list of the nine issuers monitored in the high shareholding concentration category:
Acting President Director of IDX, Jeffrey Hendrik, emphasised that this publication does not automatically indicate any violations in the capital market, including regarding free float provisions.
“It does not automatically show any violations in the capital market sector,” he said on Thursday (2 April 2026).
He explained that issuers in the HSC category can take corrective steps, such as increasing the distribution of shares to the public. After that, IDX will conduct a reassessment using the same methodology.
If the concentration level of ownership has decreased, IDX will update the issuer’s status. To date, IDX has no plans to assign special notations to stocks in the HSC category.
Meanwhile, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) has also begun opening up HSC data to the public as part of market transparency policies. The publication is carried out after trading hours to avoid disrupting market mechanisms.
“This is not because of any specific violation, but additional information for investors to see stocks with ownership concentrated in a few parties,” said Hasan.
OJK, together with the Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO), including IDX and the Indonesian Central Securities Depository, continues to socialise this policy to market participants.
In the future, OJK will also engage in communication with global index providers to ensure this policy aligns with international standards and strengthens investor confidence in Indonesia’s capital market.
