IDX Eases Investor Consultations via IDX Hotdesk

The Indonesian capital market regulator, in this case PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX), has introduced the IDX Hotdesk service as an integrated communication channel. This service was created to facilitate access to information and consultations for all market participants. The service can be accessed via email at idxhotdesk@idx.co.id. “The IDX Hotdesk initiative is part of the collaboration between IDX and KPEI, KSEI, and OJK in strengthening the capital market ecosystem,” wrote IDX Corporate Secretary Eko Susanto in an official statement on Tuesday (5/5/2026). According to him, the service also reflects efforts to increase transparency that contribute to strengthening investor confidence, both domestic and international. “IDX Hotdesk is a strategic communication tool that encourages active engagement of market participants in providing input to the regulator to support the development of a more advanced and globally competitive Indonesian capital market,” he stated. On the other hand, IDX together with other regulators, PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI), PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI), with the support and guidance of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), has completed four agendas as part of the capital market transparency reform. “This step is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the credibility, accountability, and investor trust in the Indonesian capital market industry,” he said. The four reform agendas include the provision of share ownership data above 1% to the public, announcements of High Shareholding Concentration (HSC) accessible via the IDX website, strengthening the granularity of investor classification in KSEI data, and increasing the minimum free float limit to 15%. “As part of the public communication series, IDX together with OJK and KSEI has previously conducted socialisation regarding these four actions,” he concluded.
