Allahu Akbar (×9) La ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa lillahi alhamd.

Praise be to Allah, Who has made Eid al-Fitr a day of reward and recompense, in which Muslims don their finest garments, preparing to visit family and loved ones, seeking the pleasure of the Lord of lords.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, the Accepter of Repentance, the Sovereign. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the Chosen, the Beloved. O Allah, send prayers, peace, and blessings upon our master Muhammad, upon his family, his companions, and those who follow them in times past and future. To proceed,

O servants of Allah! Fear Allah, obey Him, and magnify Him with takbir.

Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, Eid celebrants, may Allah have mercy on you…

Today is a great day. A day full of takbir. A day full of gratitude. A day full of emotion. Since last night, the echoes of takbir, tahlil, and tahmid have resounded, filling the skies, welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1445 H.

Marking our farewell to the special month of Ramadan, full of Allah’s mercy (rahmah) and forgiveness (maghfiroh), as well as redemption from the fire of Hell (itqun minan-nar).

The scholars remind us: The takbir of Eid al-Fitr is not merely an echo of voices. It is an acknowledgement of spiritual victory. Allah says:

“And that you magnify Allah for the guidance He has given you, and that you may be grateful.” (QS Al-Baqarah: 185)

Alhamdulillah, thanks be to Allah, this year we are still granted the opportunity to meet this blessed Eid. May the deeds of worship we performed during Ramadan be accepted by Allah SWT, and may we be granted health, strength, and steadfastness to carry out all His commands and abstain from all His prohibitions.

Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, Eid celebrants, may Allah have mercy on you…

Today is a day of victory. A day when the Muslim ummah returns to its pure nature after being forged in the school of Ramadan. For a full month, we have been trained by Allah to restrain ourselves, strengthen our patience, nurture empathy, and deepen our reliance on Him.

However, Ramadan does not only educate us to become pious servants, but also prepares us to become a resilient ummah. For history always teaches one lesson: a strong ummah is not one that is never tested, but one that is able to prepare itself to face trials.

Today, the world is facing major dynamics. Conflicts between countries are increasing, geopolitical tensions are occurring in various regions, global supply chains are disrupted, energy prices are rising, inflation is increasing, and the global economy is facing uncertainty.
