Hyundai Motors Indonesia Delivers First Vehicle Under Hyundai Subscribe Service
PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia delivered the first vehicle under its Hyundai Subscribe subscription vehicle programme to a customer during a ceremony in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The symbolic handover marks the commencement of implementation of the subscription-based mobility service that Hyundai had previously introduced as an alternative to conventional vehicle ownership.
Chief Operating Officer of HMID Fransiscus Soerjopranoto stated that the first programme customer was from Balikpapan. “On this occasion, we are symbolically handing over to a customer from Balikpapan, Deny. Our first Hyundai Subscribe customer, a programme that is highly sought after as a needed solution,” Fransiscus said during the ceremony.
According to him, the vehicle delivery represents an initial step by Hyundai in offering more flexible mobility options to Indonesian consumers. “We want to continue addressing the mobility needs that exist in Indonesia,” he said.
Hyundai Subscribe is a vehicle subscription service that enables customers to use Hyundai vehicles with a monthly fee that already covers various vehicle operational requirements. Under this scheme, costs for regular maintenance, insurance, and vehicle administration are included in the subscription package.
Fransiscus stated that Hyundai has also prepared various service support for customers, including replacement vehicles if the vehicle in use requires repairs exceeding one day. “Replacement vehicle, should repairs not be completed within 24 hours. Free replacement as long as the vehicle is still being repaired at our workshop,” he said.
General Manager of Hyundai Mobility Solutions Wahyu Seto stated that the Hyundai Subscribe programme was first introduced at the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show as part of Hyundai’s mobility service development in Indonesia. According to him, consumer interest in this service has been quite high since its introduction.
“The latest development of Hyundai Subscribe (launched at IIMS 2026), there are more than 50 Hyundai Subscribe customers interested,” Wahyu said.
Deny, the first customer under the programme, said he was attracted to the subscription scheme because it provides flexibility compared to conventional vehicle ownership. “Seeing that Hyundai products are quite reliable and this programme is flexible,” Deny said.
Hyundai had previously introduced several after-sales services to support vehicle ownership experience, including the myHyundaiCare programme launched at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The programme includes various services such as vehicle residual value guarantee of up to 70 per cent as well as a trade-in programme with added value of up to 20 million rupiah.
