Hutama Karya Posts Rp 3 Trillion Profit, Toll Roads Become Main Revenue Engine
PT Hutama Karya (Persero) recorded a net profit of Rp 3.09 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year. This performance grew 11.6% compared to the previous year (year-on-year/YoY), in line with a 17.4% decrease in total liabilities from Rp 58.04 trillion to Rp 47.92 trillion. Based on the audited financial report, profit growth was achieved amid consolidated business revenue, reflecting the effectiveness of operational efficiencies and financial expense management. Operating profit was recorded at Rp 2.74 trillion, up 10.2%. Meanwhile, financial expenses were reduced from Rp 1.64 trillion to Rp 1.24 trillion, or a 24.5% decline over one year. Hutama Karya’s President Director Koentjoro stated that this achievement resulted from the comprehensive transformation carried out by the company. “The growth we have recorded is always based on expansion with risk mitigation. This is quality-guarded growth. Profits grow, debt decreases, equity strengthens. We are committed to maintaining this trajectory as a long-term foundation,” he explained in a release on Wednesday (15/4/2026). On the balance sheet side, the company’s equity increased to Rp 14.18 trillion, or grew 2.3% YoY. This strengthening occurred without additional new State Capital Participation (PMN) throughout 2025. The total consolidated assets were recorded at Rp 189.10 trillion as of 31 December 2025. Revenue contributions show a shift in the business model. The toll road operations segment became the main driver with 26.8% YoY growth. Revenue from this segment reached Rp 17.33 trillion, equivalent to 68.9% of total external revenue of Rp 25.13 trillion. Expansion through the Government and Business Entity Cooperation (KPBU) scheme further strengthened the long-term business foundation. In 2025, the company signed a KPBU agreement for the Flyover Panorama I Sitinjau Lauik in West Sumatra worth Rp 2.7 trillion. Previously, in 2024, Hutama Karya also won the KPBU Trans Papua Jayapura–Wamena project valued at Rp 3.3 trillion. The construction of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTT) continues, with the Betung–Tempino–Jambi Section 4 starting commercial operations in September 2025. Since July 2025, Hutama Karya’s ownership has officially been under PT Danantara Asset Management (Persero). Management stated that this performance achievement is part of efforts to maintain the company’s sustainability while supporting national development.
