How to Update BPJS Kesehatan Data via WhatsApp: Here Are the Steps
Participants of BPJS Kesehatan no longer need to visit a BPJS Kesehatan office to update their personal data. Changes can now be made online through the Pandawa WhatsApp service. According to the official BPJS Kesehatan Instagram account (@bpjskesehatan_ri), participants simply fill out a form, upload the required documents, and wait for a notification confirming the changes have been processed. The steps are as follows: Chat with Pandawa BPJS Kesehatan on WhatsApp at 08118165165. Then, select the Administration menu and click the link provided. Next, choose the Data Change/Correction menu. Specify the data to be changed, such as the identity card number (NIK), family card number, name, address, date of birth, mobile phone number, or updates to rank and salary (specifically for civil servants, military, and police personnel). Finally, fill out the form according to the instructions. Upload a photo of your identity card (KTP) and family card. For updates to rank and salary, you must attach the latest appointment decree and the latest salary slip. Then, click Send. The request will be processed immediately by BPJS Kesehatan officers. Once completed, the applicant will receive a notification indicating the data change was successful. The agency also highlighted the importance of health history screening to detect the risk of chronic diseases. Starting 6 March 2026, JKN participants who have not completed a health history screening in 2026 will be asked to fill it out before accessing services at a primary care facility (FKTP). This screening can be done via the Mobile JKN app, the Pandawa WhatsApp chat, the BPJS Kesehatan Care Center at 165, the official website, or by visiting the registered FKTP directly.
