For those wishing to create an NPWP online, the process is straightforward and can be completed using a mobile phone. Below are the requirements and steps for creating an NPWP online.

Requirements for Creating an NPWP

Before creating an NPWP, several supporting documents must be prepared. These requirements may vary depending on the NPWP registration category. According to the official Directorate General of Taxes website, here are the requirements for creating an NPWP.

There are four categories for registering an individual NPWP, namely:

  • For Indonesian Citizens (WNI): Identity Card (KTP)

  • For Foreign Nationals (WNA): passport and Temporary Residence Permit (KITAS) or Permanent Residence Permit (KITAP).

How to Create an NPWP Online

  1. Coretax Account Registration

Open the coretaxdjp.pajak.go.id website, then click “New Registration” or “New Registration” at the bottom to create an NPWP.
