Hotel gets new name

JAKARTA (JP): Five-star Pertamina Cottages in Kuta, Bali, changed its name yesterday to Patra Jasa Beach Resort Bali.

"The change is to make the promotion abroad easier," Basari Bachri, an executive assistant manager of the hotel, said, reported Antara in Bali.

He said Patra Jasa is more well-known because of its nationwide chain, including in Jakarta, Bandung in West Java, Semarang in Central Java, Parapat in North Sumatra and Bali.

Patra Jasa Beach Resort Bali, with its 206 rooms, has been opened to public since 1975. It underwent two years of massive renovations, with an investment of Rp 7 billion (US$3.1 million).(rid)
