Horror bus driver's trial postponed
BOGOR (JP): Yesterday's planned trial of the Kramatdjati bus driver charged with causing the deaths of 31 passengers, who were incinerated inside the bus, has been rescheduled to Monday at the Bogor District Court.
The trial to hear the prosecution of the inter-city bus driver, Ag. bin Yacob, was postponed because the defendant's lawyers were unable to attend the court, prosecutor Rizali Hanafiah said.
Ag., who is being defended by GM Associates Legal Consultants, told the court earlier that he had taken two barbiturate pills before leaving the Kampung Rambutan terminal for Bandung on March 23. (21/anr)
