Homestays for Koranic recital

PEKANBARU, Riau: About 2,500 houses are now being prepared to
accommodate visitors to the 17th national Koranic recital
competition Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur'an here later this month.

Pekanbaru mayor Oesman Effendi Apan said the city was
preparing accommodation not only for the participants but also
for the spectators who will be coming from all corners of
Indonesia.

Participants will be accommodated at hotels or inns and
supporters or spectators in the houses of the city's community.
