High school in Bekasi robbed

BEKASI: Burglars broke into the teachers' room of Karya Guna
private high school on Jl. Cirebon in the Duren Jaya housing
estate here, and made off with Rp 300,000 (more than US$30).

The crime took place when the school guard, Erin Rosidi, 25,
who usually spends the night at the school building, slept in his
own house on Friday, according to Second Insp. Adri from Bekasi
Police Station.

Early on Saturday morning, Erin was surprised to find the
school gate open. When he checked, he found the teachers' room in
a mess and immediately reported this to the head of the school
administration affairs. They later learned that Rp 300,000 that
had been kept in the room was missing.--Antara
