Head of National Nutrition Agency Addresses Claims of Rp 1.2 Trillion IT Budget
JAKARTA - The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, has addressed the issue of the IT budget reportedly reaching Rp 1.2 trillion for the National Nutrition Fulfilment Information System (SIPGN) as well as managed IT services and Internet of Things (IoT) facilities.
Dadan explained that the selection of strategic partners and the use of the 2025 fiscal year budget are conducted under strict supervision and in accordance with regulations.
“The involvement of Perum Peruri (PERURI) in this strategic programme is an integrated state initiative. It should be emphasised that PERURI has transformed into a high-security technology company,” Dadan stated in his remarks on Tuesday (21/4/2026).
According to Dadan, PERURI’s involvement aligns with the mandate of Government Regulation (PP) Number 6 of 2019, which authorises PERURI as a provider of digital security solutions for government agencies.
“All cooperation processes with BGN are carried out transparently, in line with applicable regulations, and prioritising the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG),” Dadan added.
He assured that there is no room for deviations, as this concerns the sovereignty of Indonesia’s nutritional data.
From the available budget ceiling, Dadan said, the current realisation is allocated to two crucial needs.
“First, the development of the SIPGN application, which includes various modules with an estimated value of Rp 550 billion,” he stated.
Regarding public concerns about technical issues in the Electronic Procurement System (SPSE), Dadan assured that every administrative stage continues to operate within the legal framework.
“BGN is committed to ensuring that the SIPGN system and IoT services can operate at maximum capacity as soon as possible to guarantee targeted nutrition distribution and real-time monitoring,” he emphasised.
