Harmoko swears in new officials

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Information Harmoko installed
yesterday Willy A. Karamoy as his expert staff on political and
security affairs, replacing Nurdin Syam, who will retire.

Also at the ceremony Harmoko appointed Kosky Zakaria, formerly
director of journalism development, to fill in Karamoy's former
position as director of foreign information services.

To replace Kosky, A.M. Naina was promoted as director of
journalism development.

Minister Harmoko remarked that despite being a new-comer to
the rank of echelon two office, he was confident that Naina, with
his past experience as an official in the directorate of
journalism development, could perform his job admirably.

Also inaugurated yesterday was Semyon Sinulingga, as director
of public information, replacing the outgoing Sudarjanto.(mds)
