Great Eastern States Agent Contribution to Premium Reached 23 Percent Throughout 2025
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia (GEGI) stated that agents play a crucial role in the company’s business operations. Agents are one of the main pillars of distribution and a key partner in developing sustainable business.
GEGI’s Marketing Director, Linggawati Tok, said that throughout 2025, the contribution of agents to the Gross Written Premium (GWP) reached 23 percent. This achievement demonstrates the significant role of agents in driving the company’s growth, with a total GWP of IDR 978 billion in 2025.

Success does not come automatically. Collaboration, opportunities, inspiration, and marketable products are our real support for agents to continue to grow in 2026,” she said in an official statement on Wednesday (February 25, 2026).
The Gross Written Premium grew 12.8 percent year-on-year (YoY) to IDR 978 billion.
“These figures reflect a solid level of capital,” said Linggawati.
The company also encourages a customer-centric business approach through products that support lifestyles. This aims to ensure that every interaction, such as claims or other issues, can be resolved well by GEGI and provide maximum satisfaction for customers, as well as build loyalty and long-term relationships with customers.
First, strengthening the retail and small medium enterprise (SME) segments by reinforcing the agency pillar to make the business more sustainable.
Second, GEGI also improves technical expertise and continuous development in each field. This is to help agents deepen their understanding of insurance products and understand market trends and dynamics.
Furthermore, the company strengthens a customer-centric approach through products that support lifestyles. This aims to ensure that every interaction, including the claims process and problem-solving, runs optimally so that customers receive maximum satisfaction.
Fourth, loyalty and long-term relationships with customers are also a focus to create a sustainable and stable business model.
