GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo) has announced that its budget for Bonus Hari Raya (BHR) for ojol drivers will be more than double the amount allocated in 2025. The President Director and CEO Hans Patuwo said the budget will rise to Rp 110 billion for BHR 2026, up from Rp 50 billion in 2025. ‘We channel BHR as a form of appreciation for partners’ contributions to maintaining the quality and reliability of our service to customers over the past 12 months, while considering the company’s capacity,’ Hans said in a statement received by Kompas.com on Tuesday 3 March 2026. He explained that BHR will be given to partners for whom the Gojek platform is a primary or supplementary income source and who are committed to providing good service quality. ‘We understand that every partner’s journey is different; some can be active for the full year, while others may pause due to health or family responsibilities. Therefore, this year we have refined the BHR recipient categories based on a deep understanding of on-the-ground dynamics and challenges,’ he added. Furthermore, this year two-wheeled GoTo partners will receive BHR amounts ranging from Rp 150,000 to Rp 900,000, while four-wheeled partners will receive from Rp 200,000 up to Rp 1.6 million. GoTo’s decision to allocate a larger BHR budget has been welcomed by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, who noted that around 400,000 GoTo partners are expected to receive BHR in 2026. Airlangga said the government urges app-based operators to disburse BHR no later than seven days before Eid al-Fitr, with earlier disbursement encouraged if possible.
