Goodyear gets new leaders

JAKARTA (JP): Shareholders of publicly-listed tire maker PT
Goodyear Indonesia yesterday appointed George E. Strikler as the
company's new chief commissioner, replacing Sjahfiri Alim, who
passed away in July.

The shareholders, in an extraordinary meeting here, also
appointed Balakrishnan Anantharaman as a director and R.Hari
Mustafa Wiradiputra as a commissioner.

The new director is an Indian born accountant, graduated from
a number of colleges in India. In 1984 he was elected as factory
accounting manager in Goodyear India. He started working for
Goodyear Indonesia as financial advisor a few years ago.(08)
