Golf tourneys for students

JAKARTA (JP): The Damai Indah golf course, located at the BSD real estate complex, Tangerang, West Java, will hold two junior championships during the school holiday season.

The tournaments, which will be held at the BSD course and the Pantai Indah Kapuk course, will open on June 18 with the flight A (15-17 years old), flight B (12-14), flight C (11 and under) and the special (18-21) competitions for boys. There will be only two flights for girls, flight A (17 and under) and special (18-21).

"We wanted to provide youngsters with the opportunity to compete in tournaments. This helps to build character, discipline and enables the kids to make friends," said Keith Hardman, general manager of Damai Indah. (yan)
