Golf company berated

TANGERANG (JP): The Tangerang Regency will take stern action
against PT Wahana Kridatama, which manages a golf course on Jl.
Pondok Cabe Raya in Ciputat, for failing to pay its property tax
dues, an official said yesterday.

Head of Tangerang's property tax office, Djunaidi Habnan, said
the decision to discipline the company was made after the firm
failed to respond to its letters on the dues.

"We have sent the letters three times, but have received no
reply from the firm," he said, adding the dues reached Rp 300
million (US$113,200).

"We always find difficulties in collecting the dues from the
firm," he said. (41)
