Gold design winners awarded

JAKARTA (JP): Lecturer of architecture Hendra Dharmawan Hutama
was announced as the winner of the first gold contest at the
Shangri-La Hotel on Wednesday.

Hutama's design titled Dari Hati ke Hati (heart to heart)
caught the attention of judges for its beauty and simplicity.

"My concept of design should be easily interpreted by the
manufacturer as well as consumers," Hutama explained.

Other winners were Chandra Sapta Surya with the Romance Stone
design and Bubun Konstantia with Mutiara berada di dalam Hati
(pearl in the heart).

The contest, organized by the Indonesian branch of the World
Gold Council, is aimed at encouraging designing in gold and the
gold business in Indonesia. (raw)
