MEDAN, North Sumatra: A six-year-old girl, believed to be the key witness in her mother's murder, is still traumatized by the tragedy and is presently undergoing medical treatment,Antara, quoting police officials reported yesterday.
The girl, Silvia, was clutching her mother's body at Hamparan Perak sugar cane plantation, Deliserdang, when villagers found her last Friday. The deceased, Tjing Liang, 38, was stabbed to death.
Although Silvia was only slightly wounded, she was under intensive care at the North Sumatra Police Hospital, the report said.
Police detective Maj. Faisal AN said he suspected the victim, who was driving a car on her way to meet her husband in Riau, was robbed and killed. Her car and jewelry was stolen, Faisal added.(16)
