Gianyar Police Chief AKBP Chandra C. Kesuma presented awards to promoted personnel and formally released retiring officers at an assembly ceremony held on Monday, 2 March 2026 at 08:15 Wita at the Tribrata Field.

The ceremony was led by Chandra as Inspection Officer. The event served as a moment to recognise the dedication of personnel receiving rank promotions whilst honouring those entering retirement.

Personnel receiving rank promotions were Kompol I Wayan Antariksawan (previously AKP) in accordance with Police Chief Decree No. KEP/1962/XII/2025, and IPDA Sang Nyoman Arnata (previously Aiptu) in accordance with Police Chief Decree No. KEP/1959/XII/2025, effective from 1 March 2026.

Three officers officially entered retirement based on Bali Regional Police Chief Decree No. KEP/593/XII/2025: Ipda Gusti Ayu Ketut Astana, Aiptu I Ketut Suarka, and Aiptu I Wayan Budiana.

In his address, the Gianyar Police Chief emphasised that rank promotions represent more than administrative formality, but rather institutional recognition of integrity and loyalty. “Rank promotion for officers of dedication is a form of institutional honour and recognition of long, unblemished dedication, loyalty without doubt, and integrity without compromise. Rank is not merely insignia on the shoulder, but a symbol of honour and responsibility that must be maintained through exemplary conduct,” said AKBP Chandra C. Kesuma.

He further stressed that higher rank demands greater moral and professional standards in duty execution. “I emphasise that the higher the rank held, the greater the moral and professional demands that must be demonstrated,” he stated.

Regarding the release of retiring personnel, the police chief expressed appreciation and honour for their service with Gianyar Police Station. “On behalf of the institution and myself, I extend the highest respect for the dedication you have given. Your commitment has been part of Gianyar Police Station’s journey,” he said.

Retirement, according to Chandra, marks not an end to public service but rather a continuation of contribution in different form. “Retirement is not the end of service, but the continuation of contribution in a different form. May you continue to be an example within society,” he stated.

Chandra urged all personnel to maintain institutional cohesion and enhance service quality to the public. “Let us demonstrate that Gianyar Police Station is a professional, modern, and trustworthy institution. Continue to do your best, continue to be the institution’s pride, and continue to serve as protector, guardian, and servant of society,” he concluded.
