GDPS sends Indonesian aviation personnel to join aircraft maintenance project in South Korea
The dispatch of engineers to South Korea represents a tangible manifestation of GDPS’s commitment to supporting the development of Indonesian talent so that they can contribute to the global aviation industry. Tangerang (ANTARA) - PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS), which is part of the Garuda Indonesia Group, is sending seven Indonesian professionals in the aviation field to join as technicians in the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) project of One Air International in South Korea. GDPS President Director Cornelis Radjawane in Tangerang, Banten, on Friday stated that the involvement of Indonesian professionals in the MRO project in South Korea also reflects the increasing trust of global partners in the quality of services provided by GDPS. “The dispatch of engineers to South Korea is a tangible form of GDPS’s commitment to supporting the development of Indonesian talent so that they can contribute to the global aviation industry. We believe that Indonesian human resources possess the competence and integrity to meet international standards,” said Cornelis Radjawane. Previously, GDPS had also sent 12 professional workers to join as Cabin Technicians in an MRO project in Saudi Arabia in February 2026. Regarding the dispatch of workers, Cornelis continued, it further emphasises GDPS’s commitment to supporting business expansion in the international market, particularly in the aviation industry’s MRO sector.
