Gathering Momentum! 4 Million Taxpayers Have Filed Annual Tax Returns via Coretax
The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance has provided the Coretax Form facility to simplify the filing of Annual Tax Returns (SPT) for personal income tax among taxpayers with nil tax status.
Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Tax Education, Services, and Public Relations at the DJP, explained that Coretax Form is an electronic form provided within the DJP’s Coretax system and is used by taxpayers to complete and submit their Annual Tax Returns electronically.
“Using Coretax Form makes it easier for taxpayers to fulfil their reporting obligations and ensures that Annual Tax Return data is recorded in the DJP’s Coretax system,” said Inge in an official statement.
Coretax Form can be used by taxpayers who meet specific criteria: individual taxpayers with income from employment, business, and/or freelance work; those submitting Annual Tax Returns with nil status; and those not using the Net Income Calculation Standard method.
Taxpayers can access Coretax Form through the following steps:
Log in to the Coretax DJP account via the coretaxdjp.pajak.go.id website;
Select the Tax Return (SPT) menu; and
Select Coretax Form.
To open and complete Coretax Form, taxpayers must install Adobe Acrobat Reader version DC 20 or newer.
