Gathering for unfortunates

JAKARTA: Three thousand orphans, homeless people, scavengers
and former prostitutes are to gather for a post-Idul Fitri
celebration here Sunday.

Tuti Try Sutrisno, wife of Vice President Try Sutrisno, is
scheduled to attend the festivity at Pondok Gede hosted by the
Social Welfare Coordination Board.

The organization's chairman, Sudradjat D.P., told The Jakarta
Post Wednesday that the gathering was being held to enable the
unfortunate share the joy of the post-Ramadhan fasting month
