JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMFI) recorded a 26.3 per cent profit growth in 2025. The profit reached US$33.9 million or approximately Rp 570 billion.

GMFI’s President Director, Andi Fahrurrozi, stated that the company’s revenue reached US$491.9 million or approximately Rp 8.25 trillion. This figure grew 16.8 per cent year-on-year.

From the balance sheet perspective, total assets increased to US$813 million or approximately Rp 13.6 trillion. Equity turned positive at US$114.6 million or approximately Rp 1.92 trillion.

“The improvement in GMFI’s performance not only reflects the success of internal transformation but also serves as a key indicator of strengthening operational and financial fundamentals across the group, particularly in ensuring fleet readiness and the continuity of flight services,” Andi said in an official statement on Thursday (2/4/2026).

Contributions also came from the non-commercial aircraft business line. This segment recorded revenue of US$36.7 million or approximately Rp 615.9 billion, growing 59.9 per cent year-on-year.

Andi assessed that this achievement resulted from operational and financial discipline. GMFI also strengthened its role within the Garuda Indonesia Group ecosystem.

“Operationally, GMFI succeeded in maintaining turnaround time with discipline to ensure aircraft serviceability and reliability remained intact, despite ongoing global supply chain challenges,” he said.

“This becomes an important foundation in supporting the fleet reactivation programme carried out throughout 2025, while strengthening the operational readiness of the Garuda Indonesia Group sustainably,” he added.

“This is a signal of GMFI’s returning growth momentum and increasing market confidence through healthier performance and disciplined execution,” he stated.
