The findings are reinforced by FWD Group and Ipsos’ FWD Consumer Outlook Survey in Indonesia, which revealed 66% of respondents feel stressed, worried, or merely surviving financially, while only 34% feel financially confident or secure.

‘From this survey, we see many people want a calmer and more structured future,’ said Jeffrey Woo, CEO of FWD Insurance, in Jakarta on Monday, 25 May 2026.

He explained that protection needs now extend beyond guarding against potential risks to include structured cash benefits and financial planning certainty, enabling customers to confidently plan their future and focus on life.
