From Home Kitchen to Global Market, Casa Grata to Showcase at Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026 with Healthy Snacks
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI continues to encourage SME actors to level up and expand their markets to the global level. One manifestation is through support for nurtured SMEs, Casa Grata, which will participate in Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026 in Singapore from 21 to 24 April 2026.
This participation is part of Casa Grata’s steps to expand exposure in international markets. Not only introducing products, this participation also reflects the increasingly mature readiness of the business, both in terms of quality, production capacity, and understanding of global market needs.
BRI’s Director of Commercial Banking, Alexander Dippo Paris Y.S., stated that the participation of nurtured SMEs in international exhibitions is part of BRI’s strategy to expand market access while strengthening SME readiness to compete globally.
“The participation of Casa Grata in FHA reflects how BRI’s nurtured SMEs are able to develop and demonstrate their competitiveness in international markets. Through a structured curation and empowerment process, BRI ensures that business actors not only have quality products but also adequate business readiness to meet global market needs. Going forward, BRI will continue to encourage more SMEs to follow similar paths and expand their contributions in the global supply chain,” he said.
On a separate occasion, Co-founder and CEO of Casa Grata, Jane Tanuwijaya, revealed that this business started from the need for healthier snacks, while also seeing the potential of local Indonesian raw materials that have not yet been optimally utilised.
“At the beginning of the journey, concepts like gluten-free, vegan, and healthy snacks were still unfamiliar in Indonesia. Many people still have the perception that healthy food is not tasty, bland, and unsatisfying. So our challenge is not just selling products, but also educating the market and gradually changing that mindset,” she said.
Starting from a home kitchen, Casa Grata has grown into a producer of plant-based, gluten-free healthy snacks. Products such as cookies and crackers with flagship variants like onion garlic crackers and chocolate cookies are now produced up to tens of thousands of units every month and marketed through various channels from marketplaces, social media, modern trade, to partner store networks and distributors.
