French Film Festival

JAKARTA (JP): The first Jakarta French Film Festival will be held at Studio 21, Senayan Plaza, Central Jakarta from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.

The four day event will feature films by famous directors and young producers.

The presentation of Les Caprice d'un Fleuve (A River's Whims), directed by Bernard Giraudeau, will inaugurate the festival at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 27.

Johan Tjasmadi, director of the Indonesian Film Council and Philippe Garnier, the French embassy's cultural, scientific and cooperation counselor will attend the inauguration ceremony.
