PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), together with its holding members, transported 1,559 homecoming travellers to their hometowns in the Free SOE Homecoming 2026 programme themed “Comfortable Homecoming with Pupuk Indonesia”. The departures took place on 17 and 18 March 2026, from Jakarta and several other regions in Indonesia. Pupuk Indonesia’s President Director, Rahmad Pribadi, stated that this group homecoming is an annual programme and the company’s support in creating a safe and enjoyable homecoming experience. “This programme is a manifestation of our care, because Pupuk Indonesia, established by the state, not only seeks profit but also has a noble vision to support national food security and provide blessings and benefits to the nation and the people of Indonesia,” Rahmad said during the launch of the Free SOE Homecoming 2026 at Pupuk Indonesia’s Head Office in Jakarta (18/3/2026). This group homecoming was organised by Pupuk Indonesia together with its holding members using a total of 31 buses and 12 minibuses/vans. Pupuk Indonesia transported 5 buses with 264 travellers. The fleet departed from Jakarta to Solo via northern and southern routes. Pupuk Indonesia’s subsidiary, Petrokimia Gresik, transported five buses with five different routes. The buses carrying 200 travellers headed to Malang-Blitar, Jombang-Nganjuk, Lamongan-Babat, Bojonegoro-Ngawi, and Kediri-Tulungagung. Meanwhile, Pupuk Kujang Cikampek transported 6 buses with 354 travellers. The buses departed from Cikampek to Kuningan, Tasikmalaya, and Pangandaran. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur also transported 372 travellers using 10 buses. The travel routes included Bontang-Balikpapan, Bontang-Banjarmasin, Bontang-Samarinda, Samarinda-Banjarmasin, and Balikpapan-Banjarmasin. In Aceh Province, Pupuk Iskandar Muda transported 119 travellers using 12 minibuses to 4 travel routes: Krueng Geukueh - Banda Aceh, Krueng Geukueh - Aceh Selatan, Krueng Geukueh - Medan, and Krueng Geukueh - Kualanamu. Finally, Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang transported 250 travellers using 5 buses. The travel routes covered included Palembang - Jakarta, Palembang - Serang, Palembang - Surabaya, Jakarta - Solo, and Jakarta - Yogyakarta. The SOE Homecoming is a collaborative programme with the SOE Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) and Danantara Indonesia. Its aim is to help the public return to their hometowns and reduce the use of private vehicles that could add to congestion on homecoming routes. The homecoming with BP BUMN and Danantara Indonesia departed on Tuesday (17/3/2026) from Jakarta. Pupuk Indonesia, in this event, released one bus departure. Meanwhile, the group homecoming with holding members departed simultaneously on Wednesday (18/3/2026) via live streaming together with subsidiaries. One of the 2026 Free Homecoming participants from Cakung Subdistrict, East Jakarta, Supriyanto, shared that he was heading home to Solo. According to him, this programme is very helpful, especially for lower-middle-class communities. “Thank you to Pupuk Indonesia for creating this free homecoming programme,” he said.
