Foreign Net Selling Shrinks, Two Stocks Most Heavily Bought
Foreign net selling activity shrank at the end of the first trading session today, Tuesday (5/5/2026), compared to previous days. Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp102.6 billion across the entire market. In yesterday’s first session trading, foreigners did record a net buy of Rp2.3 trillion, but it should be noted that Rp2.6 trillion of that occurred in the negotiated market. Last week, foreigners recorded a net sell of Rp8 trillion, or an average of Rp2 trillion per day. Today, foreigners sold the most shares in GOTO, with a net sell of Rp166.9 billion. This coincides with the government’s plan to adjust the commission cut for drivers to just 8%. The stock that also recorded a significant net sell is Bank Mandiri (BMRI) at Rp146.7 billion.
