Supervision at the Suwung Final Processing Site (TPA) has been tightened since the organic waste disposal ban took effect today, Wednesday (1/4/2026). By 07:40 WITA, six rubbish transport trucks were denied entry after being found to still carry organic waste.

Inspections were carried out by officers from the Bali Provincial Forestry and Environmental Protection Agency (DKLH), who directly checked the contents of the trucks using ladders. Trucks proven to still be transporting organic waste were not permitted to unload their cargo.

In addition, officers provided a brief briefing to the drivers regarding waste sorting. Trucks that had been inspected were then affixed with marker stickers to be recorded in the inorganic-residue waste transport system.

Finally, the trucks were immediately asked to leave the TPA site. These checks are conducted during waste transport operating hours.

“We are just asking the public to sort their waste. The proof is that we rejected all of them earlier,” said the Head of the Bali Provincial DKLH, I Made Dwi Arbani, when met by detikBali at the Suwung TPA, Wednesday (1/4/2026).
